Reliance Royal Suites offers free rooms to celebrate World Cup
In a bid to add excitement and drum up support for the Super Eagles of Nigeria during the World Cup soccer fiesta in South Africa,Reliance Royal Suites, popularly known as Hotel of Distinction, has offered one night free for guests who will be lodging in the hotel throughout the tournament.

“Guests who pay for two nights will be given the third night free,”  the hotel’s Executive Director, Mrs Olufunke Adebayo-Oginni said.

Mrs Adebayo-Oginni spoke shortly after conducting journalists on a facility tour of the new wing of the hotel.  “Our hotel management saw the need to increase our rooms to accommodate the increasing number of guests seeking to enjoy our facilities,” she said.

The rooms in the new wing are classified into four, namely bronze, silver, gold and platinum. The classification, she explained, was meant to satisfy the various tastes of the hotel guests. Besides rooms, the wing also has other facilities like conference hall.

Asked why her hotel was expanding while some others are shutting down due to harsh business environment, she said, “It’s all about our experience in the hotel and hospitality business.  We understand very well that when the environment out there is harsh, a responsive hotel should turn itself into a haven of succour, where people needing rest or seeking the ideal place to brainstorm can run to and find satisfaction. This is our secret, which I don’t mind revealing.”

“Beyond the fact that our management understands and operates the hotel business very well, our clients are also in love with the centrality of our hotel location in the Allen-Ikeja area,” she said. She also listed regular electricity, tight security, high speed  wireless Internet, proximity to airport, 24 hour bar and restaurant, among others, as what attracts guests to the hotel
